Description
A Vibrant medium that can be soft or dramatic. We will work on toned, textured paper. We mix our pastels directly on the paper and blend with our fingers and a blender. Portraits, animals and landscapes are particularly beautiful done with pastel.
Supply List:
• Soft and/or hard pastels (You don’t need both, the instructor will have extra)
• Kneeded eraser
• Pastel or charcoal TONED paper (not white), 11×14
• Optional:
o 16×20 pad, if you like a big pad (Strathmore or Canson)
o photos of favorite people, place (printed out)
o pastel pencils or a variety of pastels
*Many photos will be supplied by instructor
