By embellishing her clay pieces with a wide array of found objects, Jane Freund elevates the basic pinch pot to a distinctive — and expressive — art form. Originally a wheel thrower, she switched exclusively to handbuilding many years ago and has developed advanced pinching methods that are both organic and elegant. Jane has exhibited widely at galleries and in juried shows. She shares her techniques at workshops and classes in both Pittsburgh and Sarasota.
