Description
Unleash your creativity by creating compositions from various materials – photos, paper cut-outs, magazine pictures, – glued on a surface of either a canvas or board. This class looks for inspiration from artists such as Pablo Picasso or the American classics – Robert Rauschenberg and Joseph Cornell, while leaving plenty of room for your own imagination and creative flow. Compositional principals will be discussed. Each student will work on their own project with the instructor’s assistance.
Supply List:
Gessoed board (or canvas) 10’x10’ or greater, White Acrylic Gesso (8 oz or greater), Liquitex Basics Gloss Varnish (clear) 8oz, Any prints of old photos, magazine pages, etc., 2 – 1,5” household brushes, Acrylic Craft Paint 2oz of any color of your choice for your artwork border.
