I have lived in Venice for almost 20 years and was employed at The Venice Art Center for over 10 years. Most people associate me with the funky wood and resin art I create. I enter most shows at the Venice Art Center and have items in the sales gallery. Most of my work is custom, so my home is my showroom. And yes, I have been known to sell things off the walls and floor of my home.

Carol Anne Bruno

Carol Anne is an author and an artist currently based in Venice Florida. Originally from NJ, she received her BA in Art from William Paterson University. Carol Anne’s work reflects over 30 years of study in spirituality and nature. She typically works with acrylic canvas, some found objects, and covers most pieces in resin. Carol Anne enjoys bringing elements in the background to emerge toward the foreground in her abstract paintings. She has traveled different parts of the world and has explored art in many forms using this knowledge to build her body of work. Carol Anne currently works at the Venice Art Center where she manages the front desk and displays her art and books. Carol Anne believes that everyone has their sacred space, why not make it beautiful.
