Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and has been teaching K–12 art throughout the Sarasota and Venice area for over 20 years. She is passionate about creating a welcoming, relaxing environment where students can step away from everyday stresses, explore their creativity, and feel inspired to create. With experience in many artistic mediums, Stephanie especially enjoys acrylics and oils. Her original oil paintings have been displayed and sold at the Giving Tree Gallery on St. Armands Circle. She believes every person has an artist within them and strives to help each student feel confident and excited about their creative journey. When she’s not teaching or painting, Stephanie enjoys time with her two beloved pups and exploring local thrift stores for unique treasures and inspiration.
