Description
In this workshop, Natasha Dikareva will share her process of creating imaginative ceramic forms inspired by
mythology, nature, contemporary life, and personal symbolism. Through demonstrations and hands-on
guidance, participants will explore sculptural hand-building techniques while developing their own personal iconography — a visual language shaped by dreams, memories, archetypes, natural forms, and imagination.
Natasha will work individually with participants to help them shape their ideas into form, offering guidance on structure, gesture, character, and storytelling. Participants will learn approaches to building hollow forms, joining parts securely, refining expressive details, and considering surface possibilities through texture, slips,
underglazes, and sgraffito.
Participants will leave with a sculpture that reflects their own unique vision and a deeper understanding of how clay can become a vessel for personal mythology.
