transform your ideas into functional works of art with shapes worth celebrating! In this workshop, participants will use hand-building techniques to design and construct both functional and decorative teapots.
We’ll begin with a demonstration of teapot construction, exploring various methods including slab building,
templates, and texturing to create your own whimsical
teapot. During the second part of the workshop, we’ll focus on glazing techniques and finishing options, including sgraffito.
Whether you choose to create a fully functional piece, a purely decorative one, or something in between, this
workshop will inspire your ongoing clay journey and spark ideas for future teapot creations.
