Michaels BOGO paper, Hobby Lobby paints, Sarasota Art & Frame has everything! Watercolor painters just by water color supplies. Acrylic painters buy just acrylic items. Acrylic painters bring what you have or use Golden Acrylic fluid acrylics to learn to paint acrylic like watercolor. Mitz 10-12 point stone paper (Amazon) is optional for Watercolor painters.

Brushes: Watercolor or Acrylic PaintersL This brush has such a good point you can get away with just 2 brushes. First brush – Loew-Cornell #7000 round watercolor brushes size 8 or 10, second brush #2-4 liner or rigger brush – Loew Cornell 700 series. Optional: #7000 size 12- #7700 six 26, #7550 flat wash #1 brush.
Pallet: Watercolor: pallet with cover, Joh Pike Pallet best.
Acrylic: Aluminum foil on pan, Strathmore pallet paper or whatever you like.
Paint: Watercolor: WINSORR NEWTON PROFESSIONAL WATERCOLOR: Winsor Yellow, Permanent Rose, Manganese Blue, Ultramarine Blue and Indigo
Optional: Winsow Newton-Van Dyke brown(darks), Scarlet Lake, or Daniel Smith brand Cobalt Teal Blue, or Holbein brand – Opera (vibrant pink Bougainville color) Bring what you love!
Acrylic Painters: Golden acrylics are the beast of you want to use them like watercolor paint. Hansa Yellow Light, Quinacridone Magenta, Teal Blue, Phthalo blue(green shade), lots of white titanium (opaque) zinc white(transparent) Liquitex is great paint if you want to do traditional acrylics.
Paper: Watercolor Painters: Strathmore watercolor paper, series #300 (very good) or #400 (good but has less texture) Arrches Aquarelle(better) or (best ever made) Arches full sheets to be cut to whatever size wanted.
Acrylic Painters: Strathmore watercolor paper series #300 Orr #400, Size 9 x 12 – 11 x 15 or whatever you want.
Board to Paint on for Watercolor or acrylic: 15 x 20 size best. Plexiglass from Lowes or go to the frame department at Walmart and but 16 x 20 shrink wrapped photo scene on card board for $3 which is ready to tape watercolor paper on.
