A Vibrant medium! We will create colorful art of various subjects using hard and soft pastels-even pastel pencils. We will work on toned pastel or charcoal paper. Lots of Demos too!
Pastels
Instructor: Frances Smith
• Soft and/or hard pastels (You don’t need both, the instructor will have extra)
• Kneeded eraser
• Pastel or charcoal TONED paper (not white), 11×14
• Optional:
o 16×20 pad, if you like a big pad (Strathmore or Canson)
o photos of favorite people, place (printed out)
o pastel pencils
*Many photos will be supplied by instructor
