Claire Jenkins was born and raised in Peoria, Illinois. A recent graduate of Florida Gulf Coast University, Claire holds a bachelor’s degree in art, and works with a range of mediums including ceramics, steel welding, plaster casting, and oil painting. While completing her bachelor’s degree at FGCU, Claire had the opportunity to study oil painting and art history at the Lorenzo de’ Medici Institute in Florence, Italy. Claire has worked alongside accredited artists such as Patrick Dougherty on his stickwork installation located in the Naples Botanical Garden. Not only is Claire a teacher at the Venice Art Center, but she is the Exhibition Coordinator as well!
