Aaron is a Southern California native born in San Diego. The beginning of his art and design career was as a freelance graphic designer. Which gave him a great foundation for his jewelry and
metal art ambitions. He was mentored by Steven Smith MFA and several master metal artists and instructed by Deb Jemmott MFA.
In 2005, he began to explore the lapidary arts, starting with cutting cabochons which segued into faceting where he found the perfect complement to his metal art and jewelry. He has taught jewelry
