Contemporary use of batik techniques with multiple media, all in layers of three. Starting with specialty papers, continuing with various wax resists, colored and printed tissues and layering with bleach and inks
to create unusual effects. Includes discussion of examples, demonstration of multiple techniques.
All materials and equipment provided by the instructor for a fee of $25, due at first class.
