This two-day mini-session is for those who have little or no experience in the marvelous medium of watercolor. This mini-session will encourage you to pursue more artistic development.

Techniques for Sea and Landscapes

Each class will focus on a combination of techniques for creating the elements of sea and landscapes. We will practice these techniques with demonstrations in class. You will be assigned a painting using these techniques to be done at home. The following week we will critique the work at the beginning of the next class. Questions will be answered. This will help you become your own person in your painting.

In this class the emphasis will be on technique development through conventional and unconventional forms of painting. Participants will learn to paint with combinations of loose watery and crisp controlled strokes. As the name of the class implies, the key word is …FUN while learning.

#709 Watercolor on the Wild Side

Emphasis will be on creating settings to showcase the animal using various photographs of natural scenes as well as photos of animals in different positions. The theme for the first day will be “all things feathers”. The second day “claws and paws”. Those signing up for this minisession will receive an email with specific instructions of what they need to supply for the session.
