#301 Classic Pendant Bail

What's a bail? Well, it's the top loop of a pendant through which you put your chain or omega. Learn the clean and classic style of making a bail for your choice of stone, shell, bead or glass piece that has a hole in the top of it. You will have your choice of making your bail with silver or goldfilled wire. Materials included.

#305 Caged Pendant with Dangles: New for this year!

#309 Sculpted Pendant Bails

Get swirly and curly with silver or gold-filled wire and design a bail (that’s the loop at the top of a pendant) for a bead, stone, shell or glass piece of your choosing. Wire sculpture is mostly hand work so you’ll learn how to shape and control wire to achieve those pretty flowing curves in your deign. No experience is needed for this project. Materials included.

This unusual earring design will help you learn techniques for shaping, controlling and workhardening soft silver or gold-filled wire. We will also use small hammers and a steel bench block to create various hammered effects on the wire to make each pair uniquely your own.
